Justice Ibrahim Buba of a federal high court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos,
has ordered the arrest of former Niger Delta militant, Government
Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo for failing to honor a court summon this morning.
Tompolo was summoned to appear before the court to answer to a N13
billion land acquisition deal he had with the last administration.
The EFCC is alleging that Tompolo fraudulently sold
the land to the Goodluck Jonathan administration. The land is meant for
the construction of the Nigerian Maritime University. Tompolo had
yesterday stated that he had not received any court order summoning him.
